Fire Alarms
Domestic, Residential, Commercial and Business Fire alarms and Smoke Alarms are life-savers. Effective fire safety systems should be a major concern for all businesses, organisations, home owners and landlords.
Early smoke and fire detection plays a significant role in protecting your home, premises, family and staff, as well as members of the public. Property loss and personal injury can be minimized through early smoke and fire detection, because fire control efforts can be started while the fire is still small.
The appropriate fire alarm system depends on your building structure, it’s purpose and use, and the current fire safety legislation and regulations.
Types of Fire Alarm System
Fire Alarm Systems operate on the same principle. If a fire safety detector automatically registers smoke or heat, or someone manually operates a break glass unit (manual break point) by breaking the glass, then alarm sirens or sounders go off to warn others in the building that there may be a fire. A fire alarm system may also incorporate remote signalling equipment and auto dialler dial-out, which would alert the Fire Services.
Fire Alarm Systems can be broken down into four categories:
