SMD Electrical Contractors respond to emergency callouts within approximately 2 hours on average, but may vary and be up to 4 hours during busy periods.

If you’ve reported an alarm system fault, our engineer will silence any sounding alarm siren to avoid further nuisance or annoyance. He or she will then diagnose and investigate the fault itself.

If a more serious fault is found during the night or early hours of the morning, an engineer may need to arrange a re-visit to repair the problem later that same day.

If replacement parts are needed to repair your alarm system and we don’t have the parts available in stock, we’ll source them and make them available for fitting – usually within 24-48 hours. If the engineer can’t carry out the repair and a second visit is needed, we’ll arrange for it to be completed during our normal business hours.
